Geekblog is a simple Hugo theme for personal blogs. It is intentionally designed as a fast and lean theme and may not fit the requirements of complex projects. If a more feature-complete theme is required there are a lot of got alternatives out there. Simple sticky posts

Sticky (or pinned) posts can be used to permanently pin important posts to the top of the post list. The implementation is pretty simple and handled by weight: 1 in a post front matter. As there is no other logic to identify sticky posts you should not use negative values for weight as this will result in posts listed earlier.

Code Blocks

There are several ways to add code blocks. Most of them work out of the box, only the Hugo short code <highlight> needs to be configured to work properly. The theme also provides some additional features like a copy button and an option to set the maximum length of code blocks. Both of these functions and the dependent formatting rely on the .highlight CSS class. You must ensure that you always assign a language to your code blocks if you want to use these functions.
